The Return of the AntiDivas…

Hello, kiddies.

To make a very long story very short, it’s been a real hard couple of weeks. I won’t bore you with the details, but I will say that this post is brought to you in part by the fine folks who make IBUPROFEN… and I am damned glad of that fact.

I almost forgot the fact that it was one year ago today that I launched the fabled AntiDivas series. In keeping with the tradition, I created yet another installment chock full of the funky and soulful goodness that you have come to expect with absolutely no frills. and now for the closing commentary…

As always, many thanks to Lou the Pusherman and all the usual suspects… and an extra special thank you to Ms. Merising for the Andrea Davis track (see Uchenna, it didn’t take long :-), and to Bill for donating a set top CD writer to replace the two of mine that bit the dust last week. I know, but I still prefer digitising my vinyl the old fashioned way. In so many ways, it’s much easier but that’s just one opinion. Next week I can return to business as usual and make good on more promises, including spring cleaning… Well, it’s back to work kids. Continue to enjoy your weekend and as always, be safe

Peace and blessings.

  1. Chef,

Been a while Brutha! Just stopping through to pick up another mix from one of the finest series in the blogosphere. I remember how blown away I was by the first mix and with every single one thereafter. Can’t wait to check this one out. A few I know and LOTS I don’t.

Yeah, I use the old set top method of converting vinyl as as well. For some reason, I think it sounds warmer. But, could be I’m just old skool. 😉

    Peace and SOUL,
    Dave…

PS. I still owe you a guest mix. Soon, My Brutha…

  2. If this is as good as the last Anti-Diva mix we’re in for a treat. Thanks, (and thanks for posting these as zips as well as mp3s)
