Hello, kiddies.
The time has come to get off my rusty dusty and get to work on making this a successful venture. I am not even going to lie when I tell you that my motivation level is for shit. I just completed another term of studies. I won’t have a 4.0 when all is said and done, but it is what it is. Remember, I had to deal with a host of issues, most of which are not worth going into. In any event, I made the solemn promise to myself that I would go and soothe my sorrows by doing some much needed digging last week. Boy, was it ever fruitful! I got some rather elusive gems (at least in my honest opinion), and I also found some nice surprises while sifting through three tubs of new arrivals at the corner store. I love going there now. The proprietor lets me bring my portable and drain battery power, making sure that I don’t bring home any undesirables. And because Uncle Sam gave me my change, I was also able to attend this month’s fire hall show. Again, Gary, the couple who’s name escapes me, and a couple of nice gentleman who’s respective tables I visited for the first time, saw to it that I left there with abolutely no money in my pocket. Good thing too because once again, I came home with all killer and no filler. With that bit of long winded speech out of the way, it’s time to sit down and play some 45’s. Wanna hear some of what I got? If so, then pull up a chair. Kinda like a Whitman Sampler,..
This is dedicated to Marge, the former proprietor of Ferndale Oldies who passed away a couple of weeks ago. She was such a sweetheart for unlocking the secret room for me when I came to visit her shop. Somehow, I know her massive inventory will find its way to the other shops here in town; it always happens that way. Rest in peace…

Please download and enjoy Records Are Like Chocolate, 95 MB, or, you can go ahead and try some now, thanks to my joining Mixcloud… If the response is good, I’ll add some more stuff to it.
Time is short, so I must jet. I have but one week of respite, albeit filled with seven power packed days of hard labour at the workplace. In that time I truly hope to have the ribbon cutting ceremony over at the new digs. I should be able to do it. I also have a bazillion new 45’s to go through, so hopefully you can expect to see me once more before you know it. In the meantime, enoy your spring break and other holiday festivities, however you choose to celebrate them. Just be sure to do it good, okay? Have fun(k), and as always, please be safe.
Peace and blessings.
